Lydia Oscarson MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Valparaiso University and her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.
Lydia specializes in working with children ages 3–12 who are experiencing challenges with emotional regulation, defiant behaviors, attention deficits, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. She is also a Certified Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC) and has specialized training and experience supporting children with problematic sexual behaviors.
In her work with clients, Lydia utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She incorporates a structured yet playful approach to engage children in sessions and help them work toward their goals. Lydia believes that involving parents and the broader family system is essential to supporting meaningful and lasting progress.
